Aetna OhioRISE Respite
Aetna OhioRISE Respite (Behavioral Health Respite) provides short-term, temporary relief for a youth’s primary caregiver while making sure the youth stays safe and supported, based on the Child and Family-Centered Care Plan.
Key benefits include:
• Planned or emergency respite when a caregiver needs a break
• Services can occur during awake hours and, when authorized, overnight
• Support may be provided in the home, community, or other approved settings
• Helps preserve and support the primary caregiving relationship
• Coordinated and documented through the OhioRISE care plan
